I went out last month to shoot for my ‘a sequence of composition‘ exercise. It took me to Tekka Market (part of the Tekka Centre) in Little India. Always a favourite place of mine as much for the food and atmosphere as the photographs. As I went about taking the photos for my exercise I couldn’t help but take some shots of the individuals working here. Always friendly, it’s a pleasure to talk with them and get involved (albeit minimally) in their world for a few minutes. Here are a few of the portraits and others that came out of the trip.
