Black and White – Workers of heavy metal – A Photoessay, part one by Ming Thein

I have been following Ming Thein on WordPress for sometime. His black and white photography is fantastic. I also appreciate the industrial nature of a lot of his work. The tone and detail he finds in what a lot of people would pass by is exceptional. The series below is a favourite of mine and typically industrial. He shoots a mixture of medium format and DSLR (depending on circumstance) and really brings alive the subject. Black and white photography excites me and as I move in to the project of that name in DPP I shall be following this blog and Ming Thein with interest.

This fits well with the thoughts and research I need to have about assignment three of Digital Photographic Practice.
